FH Martin Earns Safety Awards
May 23, 2006
FH Martin Constructors recently earned safety awards from two construction industry organizations for their safety performance in 2005.

The Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) honored FH Martin with the 2005 CAMSAFETY Achievement Award, which is given to contractors who attained injury rates below the construction industry standard as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. All companies who qualified for the award received a certificate from CAM, and were listed in the May 2006 issue of CAM Magazine.

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Greater Detroit Chapter presented FH Martin with the Construction Safety Excellence Award for the company's safety performance in 2005. All recipients of the award were recognized at a luncheon on May 18 at the Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton. FH Martin has earned more than a dozen safety awards from AGC in the past several years.

"Safety is absolutely our number one priority," said FH Martin President R. Andrew Martin, Jr. "Our Project Superintendents and our General Superintendent/Safety Director work hard every day to ensure that we go above and beyond OSHA and MIOSHA safety standards at all of our job sites. It is great to be recognized for these efforts."
